Food Grade Sweeteners Maltitol Powder 

Maltitol is a white crystalline powder or colorless syrup, a common sugar alcohol. It has a sweet taste, about 90% as sweet as sucrose, with no bitter aftertaste. It dissolves easily in water and shows good stability under normal temperature. It is usually produced by hydrogenating maltose from starch. For storage, the powdered form needs to be sealed in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture absorption and caking. It is widely used in the food industry, such as in sugar-free candies, pastries and ice cream.
