 What is Peoniflorin?

Peoniflorin is a primary bioactive compound extracted from the roots of peony plants, mainly Paeonia lactiflora (white peony root) and Paeonia suffruticosa (moutan bark). It is known for its traditional association with supporting calmness and skin comfort. Rich in unique monoterpene glycoside properties, it is used in herbal supplements, traditional wellness formulations, and some skincare products focused on soothing effects.
