What is Chive Seed Extract?

Chive Seed Extract is derived from the dried seeds of Allium schoenoprasum (common chives), a perennial herb. It contains bioactive compounds like flavonoids, saponins, and volatile oils, along with nutrients such as vitamins and minerals. Traditionally used to support digestive comfort, it is now applied in herbal supplements, natural wellness products, and occasionally as a functional additive in certain foods.
