What is Hydrangea polysaccharides?

Hydrangea polysaccharides are natural polysaccharide compounds extracted from plants of the Hydrangea genus (such as Hydrangea), composed of various monosaccharides such as glucose and galactose. Modern research shows that it has potential biological activities such as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, can clear free radicals, reduce inflammatory reactions, and has potential for development in the fields of health products and cosmetics. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, some varieties of hydrangea flowers have the effect of clearing heat when used in medicine, and polysaccharides may be one of the medicinal substances. However, more clinical research is needed to support their related applications.
